Aud and Yeshi-va have an adventure

Role-play in Skarvald, Yeshi-va and Audfrith 10 Jan 2016 [07:54] Yeshi-va's astral form wonders the woods...it comes across a woman she meet one day at the Keeps court. Yeshi´va maintains silence and observes the lady... [08:00] Yeshi-va walks towards a rock nearby and slides down from the snow...she unfortunately makes a lot of noise with her feet. [08:02] Audfrith's head jerks clearly to one side at a noise, and she draws her sword and shield and treads slowly toward where she seems to have heard the noise. [08:04] Yeshi-va looks as the lady draws her sword....then..."Alright....Theres no need to hide for so long." She leaves her astral form and appears..."Good Day M´lady." She bows. [08:06] "Ahhhh," Audfrith sighs at another magical being. "I DID hear something after all." She slowly sheathes her sword. "Good day to you, errr. Lady..?" she trails off. [08:08] Yeshi-va smiles..." Im sorry for not showing myself so soon...I had to be sure it was safe...I hope you can understand." she steps closer. [08:09] Aud sighs, then says, "I could understand IF I could understand." She laughs a little. "Where I come from, people cannot make themselves invisible, except for the gods. I am just learning how Skarvald people are so different." Aud scratches her head and smiles at the fairy-looking lady. [08:10] Yeshi-va nods..."I see...Oh! Where are my manors...I am Yeshi´va, one of the Elf Seers of the Holy Temple." she bows once again... [08:11] "Yesssh-- eeeva," Audfrith tries. It is nice to meet you, Seer." She bows slightly herself. [08:13] "Oh," she continues, somewhat stunned still. My name is Audfrith. I am a tanner and tracker. I have a booth in the market by the kindness of his lord the Jarl." [08:16] Yeshi-va chuckles..."Oh! I see....Well then. May Odin the all father, bless you, that you may have great sales this winter." she does a hand symbol in the air...making a pattern of Yggdrasil the tree of life. The aura quickly flies around Audfrith. [08:19] "Whaa.. OH!" Aud exclaims. Aud's expression changes as she sees and seems to feel the light energy all around her. After the lights begin to fade, she smiles again. "Thank you Lady Yessheeeva. I am sure you have just performed a great miracle for me!" Audfrith looks a little embarrased. "Can I offer you something for ... uh... for uh.... what you just did?" [08:23] Yeshi-va smiles and shakes her head slowly...."Thank you for your kindness but there is no need....It is my duty, and my pleasure to bless all the living, from every kin in Skarvald...I would ask a favor though....Would you guard me, i must reach a lake not far from here...I´ve some research to do there...and it could be dangerous. [08:25] Audfrith: "It would be my honor, Lady," Aud says respectfully, as she draws her sword again. "In which direction ere we go now, Lady?" [08:25] Yeshi-va smiles..."This way." she waves her hand as a gesture for her to follow. [08:28] Yeshi-va expression changes...."Here we are." [08:28] Aud fights her way through the prim brambles and branches to stand behind Yeshi-va at the lake. [08:31] Yeshi-va hits the ground with her staff, it began to freeze a small portion so she could walk to the middle of the lake..."I must grab a sample of this water...Can you look around to make sure no unwanted being shows up?" [08:32] Audfrith: "I have your back, m'Lady, as long as that is the only direction we must worry about!" Aud looks a bit concerned at the lake. [08:36] Yeshi-va sits down to pick up some water....as the frozen square begins to decrease its range..."I do not have much time." She reaches the water...but her bottle slipped from her hand and fell to the water..."Oh no! I need that bottle!" she tries to reach it....then she spots something coming out of the water....a corpse of some sort...it screams at her and begins to leave the lake walking towards Audfirth...." Watch out!" she screams. [08:38] Aud turns at Yeshi-va's screams to see something heading towards her -- but WHAT??? Her mouth drops open and she readies her sword arm while trying to get closer to the Lady who might be in danger. [08:43] Yeshi-va stands up and sees Audfirth slaying the corpses..."Oh no!" she looks to her feet...the ice platform she created was loosing its thickness...."AHH!" she screams and she goes underwater....she tries to swim.... [08:44] Aud cannot leave the shore before 3 creatures are on her. She slashes at them with her sword, but instead of falling, they seem to disappear in turn. She looks toward Yeshi-va as they are all defeated, and sees that the Lady has broken through the ice. She quickly lays on the ice and slides forward, holding the butt of her sword over the hole in the ice, hoping the Lady is just underneath. [08:46] Yeshi-va is almost unconscious and fights to catch some breath...she sees Audfirth coming towards her she tries to reach her with her hand. [08:47] Aud crawls further out into the ice, and removes her cloak, dropping the fabric into the water. She hopes Yeshi-va can see it still. [08:48] Yeshi-va sees the fabric and holds on to it.... [08:49] Aud sees through the ice when the Lady has come closer, and she backs up slowly, her weight carefully balanced onto the ice sheet. She pulls the cloak further out, hoping that Yeshi-va can hang on. She reaches for her with her other hand. [08:50] Yeshi-va reaches Aud´s hand... [08:51] Aud pulls Yeshi-va firmly from the water, up onto the nearby bank. She watches with one eye toward the hole, hoping that no more creatures emerge. She shakes the Lady gently, hoping that she will come to. [08:52] Audfrith: /curtsey [08:52] ღLυяiαηαღ: ((wait my animation aint working)) [08:53] Audfrith: LOL welcome to my world. It sucks to be an alt when all my good stuff is on my other avi. [08:54] Yeshi-va struggles to breathe..."Tha...Thank you M´lady..".... [08:56] Yeshi-va tries to stand up... [08:56] Audfrith: ((darn forgot that was inworld chat again...)) Aud puts her own cloak around the woman, then reaches for a pelt she has in her bag. She wraps it around Yeshi-va. "Where can I take ye to, my Lady? Were you able to get done what you needed to do?" [09:01] Yeshi-va sits unable to stand...."No I did not...the bottle that was needed to get to the water.....slipped right out of my hand....I cant believe i lost it....." she looks at the lake...."Thank you...for saving me..." she tries to smile but is to sad to do so. [09:04] Audfrith looks to where the bottle must have dropped into the water, but the lake looks so deep, and the cracks in the ice have spidered dangerously close to where the two had escaped it. Aud looks back to Yeshi-va. "I am sorry to say that I cannot try to get it for you, Lady. I would if I thought it possible." Aud herself seems bothered. [09:06] Yeshi-va places one hand on hers...."Do not worry...I´ll find another way...Once the lake is safer to be in....Now I must return to the Holy Temple...It is far to dangerous to be here..." she shakes for it is also very cold. [09:08] Audfrith: "I will accompany you, Lady. I am sorry that we did not have better luck today." Aud stands and offers Yeshi-va her hand. "Are you able to walk, my friend?" she asks. [09:10] Audfrith takes off her heavy clunky fur mittens and offers them to Yeshi-va. "These are warm if ugly, m'Lady, if you can afford to have your hands in them." [09:10] Yeshi-va grabbed her hand and stood up...."Thank you but I must reach it as fast as I can..." she takes off the cloak Aud offered and gave it to her...making a hand gesture she begins to evaporate slowly...((sorry im rushing my departure I must go visit a friend in sl needing help)) [09:16] "Good, good," Aud nods, still readying to have to accompany the Lady home. But as she takes her cloak back, Aud watches the Lady evaporate slowly, as if a column of water. She steps back slightly, grasping her cloak and mittens in her hands. As she realizes that she is again seemingly completely alone in the forest, she mutters to herself, putting her cloak and mittens back on. "Will I ever get used to all of this *magic*..." She draws her shield and sword again, walking more watchfully in the woods, heading back in the direction they had come.
